Overview:
In October 2008, Security Director News is launching Security Profiling for Survival -- a groundbreaking event that marks the beginning of a paradigm shift for security professionals. This two-day think tank will inform, educate and inspire security professionals, and technology and service providers in an open forum of discourse, discussion and learning.
At SPS we will do a deep dive into behavioral profiling that clearly demonstrates how, when properly deployed, it will be the first choice security survival tool in the United States.
The event was conceived after a visit to Israel, arguably the most security-conscious country on earth, where the leaders of Security Director News recognized a void in United States' security practices that needed to be filled.
SPS will inspire, inform and provoke. It will start the dialog - the learning - about how behavioral profiling (although a scary term in the United States) can be the most important technique deployed across a broad and varied spectrum of businesses. Additionally, SPS will provide deeper dive educational and networking opportunities for attendees that will help them learn more about profiling techniques and understand how emerging and existing technologies can be deployed to further enhance security measures.
